tools — the same engine that draws web pages and plays videos — to decode, transform, and re-encode your file
directly on your computer or phone. The data never crosses the network, so there's nothing to intercept, log,
or leak. You can even disconnect your Wi-Fi after the page loads and every tool will keep working.
Concretely: image conversion uses your browser's Canvas API to decode the picture and re-export it in a new
format. PDF merging and compressing use a JavaScript PDF library running locally in a background thread.
PDF-to-image rendering uses your browser's own PDF rendering engine. Background removal downloads a small
machine-learning model once (so it can run offline afterward) and runs it locally too. In every case, the
only network activity is fetching the tool's code (and ads) — your actual file contents are never part of any
request this site makes.
