Most "free" converters work by uploading your file to a server, processing it there, then sending it back —
which means a copy of your file (photos, PDFs, IDs, whatever it is) briefly or permanently sits on someone else's
machine. Lotus Convert doesn't do that. Every tool here runs using your browser's own built-in
tools — the same engine that draws web pages and plays videos — to decode, transform, and re-encode your file
directly on your computer or phone. The data never crosses the network, so there's nothing to intercept, log,
or leak. You can even disconnect your Wi-Fi after the page loads and every tool will keep working.
Concretely: image conversion uses your browser's Canvas API to decode the picture and re-export it in a new
format. PDF merging and compressing use a JavaScript PDF library running locally in a background thread.
PDF-to-image rendering uses your browser's own PDF rendering engine. Background removal downloads a small
machine-learning model once (so it can run offline afterward) and runs it locally too. QR codes are drawn
directly onto a canvas from the text you type. In every case, the only network activity is fetching the tool's
code (and ads) — your actual content is never part of any request this site makes.

How this QR generator works
Whatever you type is encoded directly into a QR code pattern and drawn onto a canvas element in your
browser — the same way the image and PDF tools on this site work. Nothing you type is ever sent anywhere,
so it's safe to use for private links, Wi-Fi passwords, or anything else you'd rather not upload to a server.
Is this QR code generator free?
Yes — generate and download as many QR codes as you want, with no account and no watermark.
Do my links or text get uploaded anywhere?
No — the QR code is drawn entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server.
Do these QR codes expire?
No — this generates a standard static QR code that encodes your text or link directly. It works for as long as the link itself is valid.
Can I use this for a business or print it?
Yes — download the PNG at a large size and it's suitable for print as well as screens.
